Our Commitment to Sustainability
At AlcoDigital, sustainability is more than a responsibility, it’s our mission.
We believe that the choices we make today directly shape the future, and we are committed to creating lasting value for people, communities, and the planet.
Our mission is to reduce our environmental footprint by using resources wisely, cutting emissions, and embracing renewable energy and circular practices.
From product design to daily operations, we focus on solutions that protect the environment and promote a cleaner, healthier world.
We extend this commitment across our supply chain, partnering with responsible suppliers who share our values of ethical sourcing, fair labor, and innovation. Together, we strengthen our collective impact.
We also recognise that sustainability is about people. We foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and opportunity for our employees, while supporting the communities we serve through education, workforce development, and social initiatives.
Transparency and accountability guide us. By setting measurable goals and sharing progress openly, we build trust and hold ourselves to the highest standards.
Our mission is clear
To lead with purpose, act responsibly, and inspire positive change. Through innovation and collaboration, we are building a sustainable future, one choice at a time.
What steps are we currently taking to help reduce our carbon footprint?
- Heat/Light/Power – With 20 x solar panels installed, over 50% of our energy is generated in-house from solar. The balance is purchased solar from renewable sources.
- Vehicles – All AlcoDigital company vehicles are 100% electric, often charged from our own solar panels.
- Packaging – We actively work to eliminate plastic and non-recyclable plastics, we now offer 100% recyclable paper mouthpieces for the majority of our range.
- Waste Reduction & Recycling – We run in-office recycling programs, including refurbishing or recycling digital handheld breathalysers.
- Digital Approach – Reducing our paper trail through digital communications and online reporting.
- Building efficiency – Use of LED lighting, smart thermostats, and insulation helps to further reduce energy consumption.
- Travel – We have moved over 85% of our training courses from on-site courses, to online webinar presentations. This helps reduce the carbon footprint of both our own trainers and that of the delegates attending our courses.
